Specialized research on the Internet

How many people look for information on the Internet each day? Millions. But how many find what they are looking for every time? Er… Less… A lot less! Internet is a wonderful database, a gigantic encyclopaedia, the planetary brain that we have heard so much about. No doubt about that. But it is also a maze in which we regularly lose track of the information we are seeking.

What can be done to solve this problem? Knowing very well one's field of enquiry and its associated themes makes it possible to build precise queries, that are likely to bring relevant results. That's the first solution. The second is to know the reference sites that are essential reading in their subject field. And last but not least, a third solution is to know that there are intelligent agents specialized by theme.

So if you are looking for films, music or software; whether you are interested in finance, medicine or looking for a job (etc.), you can be sure to find an agent that will meet your need. Specialized in well-defined areas, these agents are frighteningly effective: dedicated to just one task, they carry it out to perfection.

To get the best responses to their queries, the cunning Internaut would be well advised to use these little utilities according to their search theme, for significant savings in time and efficiency.

The specialized search agents:

> Tracks eraser pro: don't leave traces behind!
You know by now that your computer keeps a trace of all your comings and goings on the Internet. This isn't much of a problem if you are the only person to use your computer, but if other people have access, they can find out what sites you have been visiting. Every image from every site you visit is stored on your hard disk drive. In some cases, this could be rather compromising, couldn't it?
