The Intelligent Agent Laboratory is based at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Their research covers the following objectives: to search for, interpret and synthesize knowledge from the Internet with suitable software agents, to provide methods and tools to allow inexperienced users to build software agents and to assess the tasks which software agents can perform well.
