MASH - The Microsoft Agent Scripting Helper   MASH - The Microsoft Agent Scripting Helper is rated 4 by AgentLand
Mash is a program that helps separate the code from the content, allowing to focus on the presentation rather than tedious programming details. Easily experiment with character animations, text-to-speech, and move actions, while you compose and playback complex and entertaining scripts.

The Swarm Simulation System   The Swarm Simulation System is rated 4 by AgentLand
Swarm is a software package for multi-agent simulation of complex systems being developed at The Santa Fe Institute. Swarm is intended to be a useful tool for researchers in a variety of disciplines, especially artificial life. The basic architecture of Swarm is the simulation of collections of concurrently interacting agents: with this architecture, we can implement a large variety of agent based models.

StarLogo   StarLogo is rated 4 by AgentLand
StarLogo is a programmable modeling environment for exploring the workings of decentralized systems -- systems that are organized without an organizer, coordinated without a coordinator. With StarLogo, you can model (and gain insights into) many real-life phenomena, such as bird flocks, traffic jams, ant colonies, and market economies.

Plangent is software that realizes intelligent agents that operate in the Java language system. It is an intelligent agent system that performs tasks for human users. An agent in the Plangent system has movement and planning capabilities; it can move around the network, determine the best course of action in various situations and act by itself.

AgentClient&trade is the client content delivery tool for the industry's first mobile, distributed, agent oriented repository. AgentClient&trade is an interactive developer environment. It allows developers to convert existing applications to support a network user interface without requiring a major system rewrite.

 IBM Aglets Software Development Kit
Java Aglet Application Programming Interface is intended for Internet agent programmers. It allows for the development of platform independent mobile agents written in the Java programming language.

The Object Management Group (OMG) is currently working on the specification of an agent framework to support agent mobility via Mobile Agent System Interoperability Facilities Specification (MASIF) on top of the Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA). Grasshopper is the first mobile agent environment which is compliant to the OMG MASIF standard.

 The Mozart Programming System
The Mozart system provides state-of-the-art support in two areas: open distributed computing and constraint-based inference. Mozart implements Oz, a concurrent object-oriented language with dataflow synchronization.

Expectation-Driven Event Monitoring - University of California, Irvine
UCI's Expectation-Driven Event Monitoring (EDEM) provides developers with a platform for creating software agents that are deployed over the Internet to collect application usage data to help developers improve the fit between application design and use.

 Knowbot System Software
The Knowbot software released here implements a research infrastructure for mobile agents ("Knowbot programs") intended for use in widely distributed systems such as the Internet. The current version is an experimental prototype. The Corporation for National Research Initiatives (CNRI) invites researchers and other interested parties to test drive the Knowbot software.
